Please see a short table outlining the changes made to the management of the queue and related Wimbledon Park issues between the 2025 and 2026 Championships.
WCCP priorities for 2027 Championships
In respect of the 2026 Championships, on the back of feedback received from users/dog walkers of Wimbledon Park, local residents’ associations, Friends of Wimbledon Park, the Wimbledon Society, AELTC and London Borough of Merton, the following areas will be of priority focus of WCCP in the year up to the 2027 Championships:
- Managing those camping and reducing scope for anti-social behaviour before AELTC licence comes into force
- Managing the large number of those queuing in the first week in the great park
- Enforcing existing rules more effectively
- Increasing toilet facilities for those queuing (especially in the first week)
- Ensuring better security at Revelstoke and Home Park Gates
- Improving way of making complaints to AELTC and Merton Borough Council
There will be an updated progress report in Spring 2027.
Friends of Wimbledon Park also submitted their own feedback report.
Friends of Wimbledon Park also carried out an online survey on park users’ experiences of the 2026 championships.
