Friends of Wimbledon Park have been made aware via Merton council of a proposed new event in May 2022, called “Pub in the Park”. (Similar events have previously been held at other parks, including St Albans).

Any concerns and comments may be raised directly with Merton council as part of the alcohol / entertainment licence application, which we are told is likely to be made in mid-January 2022. We would be grateful if you could copy FOWP on any comments (email: ).
This proposal and FOWP’s response will be discussed at the FOWP Forum meeting to be held on Tuesday 18 January 2022 (5pm, on zoom). Details of this meeting will be emailed to existing Forum members and details of how others can attend will be posted on our Facebook and Twitter accounts nearer the time.
