Wimbledon Park Resident’s Association: The endorsement by London Wildlife Trust of the AELTC proposals for the lake and former golf-course and at Wimbledon Park is not well-founded for the following reasons:
- LWT failed to acknowledge a significant loss of Urban Greening.
- There were various problems with proposed access to nature. LWT noted these difficulties and reserved their position but have not changed their endorsement.
- LWT accepted a contested analysis of Biodiversity Net Gain, in doing so failing to examine data on the present state of biodiversity and accepting dubious extrapolations about the future state.
