Friends of Wimbledon Park will be organising this summer’s first litter picking session on the 1st of June. Everyone is welcome to join us!
When: Sunday 1st June at 10am
Where: Meet at the Tennis Kiosk near the café
Time: 10am for a short health and safety briefing followed by litter picking
Duration: 1-2 hours, or however much time you can spare
Equipment: We will supply litter pickers (limited number available) and refuse sacks, please bring gardening gloves / rubber gloves

Note: The park staff Idverde and the Community Payback Team do pick up visible litter routinely, but there is periodically a need for a “deep clean” of the hedges / undergrowth and woodland.
